In the Roe Valley there are a number of landmark bridges. As a church which wants to serve our local community it seems appropriate that we should have a name which identifies us with the area.

As can be seen from our mission statement we also want to be, like Christ, a bridge between God and man. We hope that when people meet us, whether in church activities or events or as we go about our daily lives, they will see something of Christ in us. After all, that is why the early disciples were first called "Christians".
